How It All Started...
Some stories transcend borders, bridge distances, and speak to anyone, anywhere. K-dramas are a perfect example. For years, we’ve followed them from afar—watching them on our screens, sharing our thoughts on social media, even picking up a few Korean words between scenes. But what if we could bring them closer? What if there were a festival entirely dedicated to K-dramas?
That’s how K-Drama Festa was born: from the idea of creating a bridge between Italy and South Korea, turning our love for Korean dramas into a real-life event. A place where fans can meet their favorite stars, uncover the industry’s behind-the-scenes magic, and experience Korean culture in all its shades. The journey began in 2022 with an ambitious dream — to bring an event like no other to Italy. Two years later, K-Drama Festa has become a reality, celebrating not only the stories that have moved us but also the ever-growing bond between Italy and South Korea, marking the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries.
Our vision
K-Drama Festa is set to become Europe’s first festival dedicated entirely to Korean dramas—an immersive, interactive experience that showcases the storytelling, aesthetics, and cultural impact of this global phenomenon. But it’s more than just a fan event. It’s a unique opportunity to connect the Korean and Italian entertainment industries, paving the way for new collaborations and international partnerships.
From exclusive premieres and meet-and-greets with actors, directors, and screenwriters to industry masterclasses and hands-on experiences, K-Drama Festa is designed to be a global hub for K-drama appreciation and expansion.
